Bringing Retail to the Athlete of Tomorrow

DICK’S Sporting Goods and E|L1, a youth baseball training academy, have a common goal: help youth athletes develop as players, teammates, and individuals.

GSVS brought these two organizations together to determine how they could accomplish this goal, together. The end result was establishing a merchandise partnership and building “mini” DICK’s Sporting Goods inside E|L1 facilities and at E|L1 owned tournaments. Youth athletes training at E|L1 now were able to purchase gear alongside their coaches, eliminating the possibility of a wrong purchase that often happens at the youth level. Not only did this partnership unlock additional revenue for both parties, it also demonstrated an effective approach to implementing grassroot initiatives.
