The GSVS Verizon 5G Sports Center: a state-of-the-art facility built for testing and learning.
Verizon rolled out unprecedented technology with 5G and mobile-edge computing (MEC), and there was no place to specifically demonstrate the power and test this technology as it related to sports. So we built it.
The 8,500 sq foot facility site is in Los Angeles and is designed to explore and develop new 5G and MEC-enabled solutions for fans and athletes in simulated in-stadium, at-home/ out-of-stadium, and training environments.
